Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's had great success with the tales she recounts about her early heartbreak. Swift's passion for music was evident in the early years of her life. From musicals for kids to performing before thousands, Swift made rapid progress. Swift in 2011, aged 11 at the time, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. In the year following, she started writing her own music. Swift was inspired by artists who played country music, like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks to create original material that expressed the apathy she experienced by 13 years old. Swift was only 13 when her parents decided to let go of their Pennsylvania farm to relocate towards Hendersonville Tennessee. She could dedicate all her efforts to contacting the country music labels that were based in Nashville.
